This is my new tenet for life after 50 ...... I mean life after 55 ............. okay alrighty: life after 57 .......
A journey of exploration and discovery of who I am becoming during the aging process. A great big bang-up HURRAH! that I'm alive. A lot of talk about sundry and miscellaneous stuff & nonsense that may or may not have relevance; they may not even make sense (remember, I'm menopausal!). But I'm hoping they'll be fun.

Ohhhhhh! Good stuff!
One thought I hang onto is, "All you can do, is all you can do"!
LUV Mr. Hopkins but I am going to have to work on a lot of that stuff for sure!
Makes a lot of sense to me too.
Life would be so much more enjoyable if we all tried to live like that . Not so easy to be sure. Hope your Thursday is a great one!
Amen to it all! I'd like to add one more: "Don't take life too seriously -- no one gets out alive!"
Wonderful goals! I may need to refer back to a couple of these every so often.....of maybe frequently!!!!
I have been blogging for over two years now and this is, without a doubt, the BEST single blog post I've seen out here in BlogWorld! You are truly one of a kind and as one who most definitely marches to the beat of a different drummer, I know we are kindred spirits!! I'll be linking this post to my next one early next week!!
Who knew Anthony Hopkins was so brilliant? I'm sure we could all do well to incorporate those ideas in our lives.
What a great philosophy to live by actually. I have found, as I have aged over these many years, that I am much more comfortable in my own skin. Yeah, I still like approval, but I don't care near as much as I used to.
I know that those who love me...LOVE ME, and those that don't, well...don't. cest la vie
AGREE with it all. You and Anthony. He's kind of easy on the eyes, isn't he???
