So, while I spend my mornings and early afternoons preparing for 2 new international students to arrive (rearrange and organize and rest; lift and tote and rest; pant and sweat and rest) and drink ooodles of ice cold water -- my afternoons are spent with my friend Eva in this way ........................
This was interspersed with cool drinks and magazines in the shade; and followed by a nice, cold supper.
What a great reward for working hard!
Eva gets the last say: PEACE!!

We've had it hot here too and that pool would do the trick. You've got a great friend there that shares her pool.
Aren't good friends wonderful? You and Eva look like you have found the ultimate way to beat the heat. This being the anniversary of Woodstock, all last week I went around last week dressed like the original flower child saying "Peace Out!" You northern gals have fun today.
Not bad, not bad at all. Water not only cools, it also calms and soothes the body.
Looks like you have the right idea!
It's been hot and humid here too.
I hear you guys have a hurricane going your way on Saturday.
You're having too much fun!
You look beautiful dripping wet lol. Swimming, floating in the pool, being anywhere near water when it's hot is a pure treat!

My mum said it had been very hot when I last spoke to her. YOu sure have a great way to cool down! Looks like fun too!
You two look like you're having a glorious time! That's really the only way to stay cool when you're outside in the heat! I've been avoiding going out - it's hot and humid even at 7 a.m.!

OMG THAT LOOKS LIKE SO MUCH FUN. My daughters in laws have a pool in their back yard and I loved it when we'd go there and ENJOY it. it's the best way to beat the heat --and especially with a good friend eh.
Hey I am back - have high speed now and am ready to rock and roll back into the land of blogging.
I'm Jealous! I used to have a pool many years ago and loved, loved it. Enjoy!
you are so right. Having a friend with a pool is truly the next best thing to having one of your own
I am suprised to hear that your temperature goes that high that far North. I somehow thought it is just us here in SA that get that kind of hear. During summer the temperature rises into the thirties on most days and yes, you have found the perfect way of weathering that kind of weather. Enjoy!
