I realized last night that I'd begun this post but never finished it. Here are some thrifty jewellery purchases that I made when shopping at Value Village last month. (I had to purchase them in order to help me deal with the loss of Nadine! Chocolate alone did not quite take the edge off my sorrow!)

I found 2 necklaces that were very similar; and apparently, the flower choker-type of necklace is popular this season. I believe each of these were in the $3 range.*
I've been keeping my eyes open for a necklace in shades of orange/peach/coral; so when I spied with my little eye" this fellow, I paid the exorbitant price of $4.99. It hangs very nicely and is a good length for me. (I quite often find that the end of my necklaces hide under the top of my shirts! Does anyone else have that problem?)*
My last find that day was an expensive one at Value Village - $9.99! But it's such a beautiful pendant! It's got a milky stone (very much like a Moonstone) surrounded by blue rhinestones in a very pretty setting.

Happy Thrifting everyone!
A journey of exploration and discovery of who I am becoming during the aging process. A great big bang-up HURRAH! that I'm alive. A lot of talk about sundry and miscellaneous stuff & nonsense that may or may not have relevance; they may not even make sense (remember, I'm menopausal!). But I'm hoping they'll be fun.
