Goodnight John Boy!

My weekend?

Just a glass while I watched Fringe.
It's hard to beat a cheap, youth group sponsored penny
auction and yard sale.
And the pork b'beque was real tasty!

But next to my baby coming home from uni, my favorite part
of the weekend by far was digging in the garden today.
My fingernails are ragged, my back is tetchy,
my knees complain when I walk upstairs and
I'm exhausted.  But just as the old song says:
"It hurts so good"!

Goodnight John Boy!

Never seen Fringe? The yard sale sounded like FUN. A little shopping for a good cause never hurt. Having your daughter home must be nice. ENJOY your week ahead. take care.

Sounds excellent. I know if I don't accomplish something, however small, on my days off, I don't feel completely rejuvenated when I go back to work...

OH darlin'...that's just how I spent my Saturday. I divided perennials, moved a woodpile, fought two snakes and weeded. Yesterday...I felt it all and then some! Heeehehehe!

God bless ya sweet friend and have a magnificent week!!! :o)

Ahhh - The Waltons. When we named our 6th child Mary Ellen everyone thought we named her after one of the Walton girls. Actually she was named after my grandmother.

Anyway, sounds like you had a fun busy weekend. So nice to welcome the 'away' kids home isn't it.

We love the Fringe here too but have missed so much of it this year that we're going to buy the whole season when it comes out on disk.
