Rednesday around my Bedroom

.
It's Wednesday which means that I'm joining Sue for Rednesday.
.
Last weekend when I tidied my bedroom, I found this Christmas star. I certainly wasn't going to dig out the Xmas boxes to put it away; so it now decorates my bedroom lamp.
.
I also found a beautiful pair of red flats last week. Red shoes make me feel like a little girl: "I like red because red is best!"
(Did you ever read that children's book? Wonderful!)
.
And my last red item is a lovely home-made calendar sent to me by my pen-pal in Oregon; she took all the photos herself. Gorgeous!
.
.
Sue hosts this party every week at It's A Very Cherry World, and it's always full of wonderful red treasures. Stop by and get a dose of "WOW" in your January winter day.

I have never heard of that children's book. I will look it up. I love all books and would love that one to read to my grandkids. I'll see if I can find the author. Cute post today! Hugs- Diana

Love your red shoes!

I have to admit - red does appeal to me more these days. Growing up my favorite color was always blue and probably still is. But I am drawn to the royal blue now and it looks great against that red.

Is that the name of the book? I'd love to read it, and I love all your reds.
One year I missed a small glass nativity when I was putting away my Christmas things, and it has sat on the glass shelf beside my fireplace for ten years now. Last year another nativity joined it. This year remains to be seen.

I love those red shoes!!!!
You have inspired me to be on the lookout for a pair. I think they would look great in the snow, don't you?

Love the star. I think it works.

Hi there, Sandy! I agree that red is best, and those shoes are fantastic. When I was a younger gal, and could wear high heels, I used to wear a pair of red pumps with my skintight, straight leg jeans with the zipper at the bottom. I'm quite positive that I looked very hot! ;o)
Happy REDnesday!
