Rednesday Jan 5.11

.

It's should be easy to participate in Rednesday around Christmas time, right.
.
  • I received this beautiful scarf from Gini's parents, all the way from Germany.

.

  • These items may not be red, but they're just too gorgeous to keep to myself. The cashmere gloves were a gift from my daughter; and they look lovely with red! And the gloves are sitting on my fake fur throw, a gift from Santa.

.

  • I used my Mom's gift of money to buy myself a new purse; and I can hear you all saying that "Yes, she needs another purse!" (I think "need" is such an over-rated word, don't you?) But since I broke my foot, I've not been able to carry a purse because they put me off balance. This is a messenger bag that I can wear across my body. Plus, it's so darned pretty and it makes me so dang happy, that I know my foot will heal that much quicker, don't you agree!.

  • And finally, after a 2 month hiatus, I went thrifting last week. I found this gorgeous red felt hat at my local Frenchies for $1.85; the snowflake broach was one I found while thrifting last winter. I love hats!.
I'm linking today to Rednesday on Sue's blog "It's a Very Cherry World". Be sure to drop by and check out more red finds.

Love that hat! Perfect with the snowflake pin! I think need and purse do not have to be in the same sentence at all! Love the red!

Thank you for stopping by and asking about my project for this year.

It does not matter who you send a letter to, just commit to doing it. I will have the post up the first of the month on the fifth, and will tell about who I decided to send something to, you can post about anything you want if you want to share, or maybe talk about how the recipient loved your letter. It really is what you want to do. I picked the first and the fifth because I thought it would be easy to remember. You can mail any day during the month.

Hope you will join me, it should be fun!
