The Bluebird of Happiness!

. It's friggin' freezing!
There's snow up my to my cute fuzzy buttocks; all the food's covered in with
3 feet of this white stuff; and you want me to sing!
What? Anne Murray's "Snowbird"?
.Bug Off!
.Next year, I'm flyin' to Jamaica.
Gonna get me a little hut on the beach and smoke some of that funny bird seed!

Yup, there are just some days when the optimism finds it mighty difficult to get out the door past the ice and the snow and the minus 14 deg temperatures! Brrrrr!

How do I put a smile back on my face?
Wooly socks, an extra sweater and chocolate!
Just call it necessary mental health intervention!

I just found your blog through another blog that I follow! I have to say that I am glad I did, your post gave me a much needed laugh! And yes I agree the snow needs to leave, I live in CO and thankfully the snow just melted away(;

OK, that's funny! I love the expression on the bird.
I'm sorry it's so cold there.
I hope you warmed up. I think your intervention/survival sounds like a perfect plan!

Love that little angry bluebird! I know the feeling...so tired of winter. We're finally getting some thawing temps, but the snow and ice cover is so dense that it's taking forever to melt. My driveway is like a skating rink. I hope your warm-up is on its way soon! :)

Awwww, poor little fella kinda jumped the gun didn't he???

I have bluebirds who have tried to build nests in the houses all winter long. I've never ever had 'em do this before. I fear their little brains are frozen!!!

God bless ya sweetie and may your day be filled with wooly socks, a fluffy sweater and wonderful chocolate!!!

Is that why the chocolate seems to be out a lot these days??? must be the weather, eh??

Hehehe...yep, I'm thinking that blue bird doesn't look too happy!

That bird is too funny! Chocolate is a great mood enhancer - better than wool socks.
