I added a little Autumn decor to my surroundings this week. I bought some mums for outside, added my little scarecrows to the hanging box and hung up a little pumpkin trellis that I found at a yard sale this summer. All that remains to be done is the pumpkin carving with the students: I think I'll do autumn pumpkins rather than Jack-o-Lanterns and put battery operated lights in them.
.I've hung my usual fall-colored wreath on the door; and inside, I've put out all my chatchkas.

Things are looking good there! I love your ceramic jack o lanterns! They have such happy looking smiles, like they are laughing! Very cute chatchkas! LOL!

My summer flowers are still doing well, and I don't feel right about throwing them away yet. Fall will come soon enough - doesn't usually start until October here. I did get some mums though, I could not resist.
