I lay in the swing, gently rocking myself with the arm resting over the top of my head. I read for a while; then I looked around and thought:

"Ummm! It looks magical under those ferns! Hmmmm! I wonder who would paint something on the side of my shed?"
A journey of exploration and discovery of who I am becoming during the aging process. A great big bang-up HURRAH! that I'm alive. A lot of talk about sundry and miscellaneous stuff & nonsense that may or may not have relevance; they may not even make sense (remember, I'm menopausal!). But I'm hoping they'll be fun.

Heavenly days!
What a way to kick off the weekend!
I just happened onto your blog and read through a few of your posts. You have such beautiful posts and I enjoyed reading them and your profile. I'll be checking back on occasion. Have a great weekend. Connie
Thanks for your blog. I'll follow. Come see mine. http://acamphosthousewifesmeanderings.blogspot.com/ and also Levonne's Pretty Pics.
I like the sound of your day - hope the rest of the weekend follows suite.
Sounds wonderful. I must really make a plan to retire so I will also have Friday afternoons to snooze away... but until then, enjoy yours.
Peaking in at your blog and see we are both reading the same book. I am almost finished and I can't wait to find out the ending. I see there are now 2 more books in the series. Let me know where you are in the book and if you like it.

Sounds lovely! Looks like a perfect place to be. Glad you were able to enjoy it.
I love that kind of peace. I too have a porch swing and I love to sit there and "hear the sounds of nature" and "the sounds of silence" which allows MY thoughts to be heard a little better.
How wonderful!
