Thrifty Thursday

I'm always happy to take part in Thrifty Thursday as well as check out my fellow bloggers and their great finds! Check it out!

Today I'll take you shopping with me to my favorite local thrift store - The Daisy.

*

This is Margaret; she's just one of many lovely volunteers. She asked me one day last week if I worked at The Daisy! She said she sees me there so often! What! Well .... I, I, I, I ..... ahhh, er er er er!!

(Excuse me whilst I put on my shades!!)

Just ignore Margaret!

She's old and is obviously experiencing some confusion!!

*
*
The Daisy is a small store; just this one room containing one rack of ladies blouses, one rack of sweaters, 2 shelves of shoes, etc. But they do fairly brisk trade; so "new" stock is put out frequently.

(That's my $6 Frenchies purse sitting open on the counter; it does not contain mouchous dinero! But it does have a pretty green debit card with $47.28 on it!)

*
*
In order to ease my delicate sensibilities and regain my composure after Margaret's error, I bought these choice items:
*

2 pretty summer skirts ($3.50 ea)

*

2 silky camisoles in lovely spring colors ($2 ea)*

1 very pretty quilted spring jacket w/ coordinating scarf

($6 and 1 respectively)

*

These items have the making of a really cute Easter outfit for church, wouldn't you say?

*

4 more days until I get to eat Chocolate again!!

*

*

And don't forget to enter my giveaway!

I draw for the winner tonight (around 11 pm Atlantic time)

Your shopping is right up my alley. Love those thrifty bargains. It is all just darling, especially the price. BIG smile. Easter finery is a bonus.

We don't have finds like these in our thrift stores.
By the way, I have been mistaken for store personnel more than once...not because I'm a frequent customer, but because I am a perfectionist and am always straightening the books, records, pictures, etc!
