Goodbye 2011

Happy New Year everyone! It's 2012!
2011 was a good year for me (once that cast came off and I could walk again). I was blessed with health, a warm home, a good job and great kids -- international ones included. I was fed well (too well!); got to spend time with my family; got to laugh lots with good friends. I had many opportunities to dance; I swam in the ocean; read so many good books and even got some kisses and hugs. (But ALL by children, family and friends. Dang!)
I look forward to a new year -- full of hopes, dreams, optimistism at the mysterious unknown, and wonderful possibilities -- as well as the many, many opportunities to screw-up!

So CHEERS! Here's to 2012!
And to the possibility of it holding some hunk like this guy ... looking at and speaking directly to ME!

It's all about the meaningful things - family, friends, shelter and food - that matter in life. However, throw in a George Clooney, and life really is worth living.

Looks like you summed it up. You have lots of moments to remember. Now that we've put 2011 to bed. Here's hoping 2012 will be a good one. May joy, good health and dreams of George fulfilled, bless you in 2012. HAPPY NEW YEAR.

Happy New Year! I totally get where you are coming from, being thankful for your health. That really is the best attitude. Having worked at a hospital for a number of years, I understand how fragile we are, and how wonderful it is to have our health. Funny, only people who have suffered some kind of health malady are the ones who appreciate the gift of being normal! Best wishes and a healthy new year to you.
