I love gardens, each one has it's own personality. :) Beautiful blue fence/trellis. You still have quite a bit of color, isn't it getting cold where you are? We are in our "spring" season right now, so everything is blooming and very happy. :)

I am amazed that your flowers look so good waaaay up north. It was 34 here this morn and I had frost on the ground on the upper areas of my yard. Soon and very soon everything will go limp and be that nasty dead brown-black color.

Each year I go into mourning and beg, plead and try to coax my beauties out of the grave. Then I give up the ghost and clean the beds out.

Have a wonderful Fertilizer Friday...I'm a deep cleanin'!!! God bless you sweet lady.

Yeah, it's getting cool but not cold yet. We've been blessed. Had a couple of frosty morning; but I guess the plants are acclimatized to the colder temperatures and hang on longer?? I want to plant more spring bulbs this weekend. But I wait until the very last minute to clean up, in November sometime when most of the leaves are gone.

I like the Chinese Lanterns (well, that's what I call 'em) and Shasta daisies are really worthwhile in the garden.

Great snapshots.

I linked you in! I finally fixed my blogger issues...it had something to do with the cache of cookies or something!
Your garden still looks wonderful...I am a tad envious...killing frosts have wiped me out! I love the purple fence!!!
thank you so much for joining in!

I think it looks lovely, but it is hard to see the fullness of summer give way to the barely there hold-outs of fall. Love the gnome up against the blue fence. Too cute!

I love the Coleus. Did you know they were of the mint family. I was quite surprised to find that out.

Do you have any beauty secrets besides fertilizer Sandy? :)

I don't think it looks sad. It looks really nice! I love the Chinese lanterns.

Thank you everyone for the great comments.

Wanda- You asked if I had any beauty secrets besides fertilizer. Do you mean me personally? I do shoot the bull quite a lot, so perhaps that's the fertilizer that keeps me young at heart!! As for the garden ... No secrets. Compost and occasionally weeding. I'm blessed to be in a sheltered location with lots of trees which, I think, must help hold the heat in?? And I do love my garden so perhaps the plants feel that! I'm blessed by my garden.
