Shoesday March 29.11

I was on my way to the airport on Saturday, so I took a detour through Bayer's Lake and visited Value Village. There were lots of shoes in my size. This cart had 18 pairs for me to try on. .

I narrowed it down to these 3 pairs; and I choose the 2 black pairs as the wine colored flats were too expensive at $12.99 and I wasn't in love with them.
The black walking shoes are Naturalizers -- very comfy and a steal at $5.99. The "Bravo Browns" (never heard of them before) were $8.99 but they have leather uppers and are also wonderfully comfy with their little wedge .... and very stylish, I think.
At church this Sunday, I walked out in these great little Naturalizers......

and I paired them with my favorite spring handbag. That splash of vibrant blue can lighten even a cold and windy day like Sunday was here on the South Shore of NS!.
I'm just doing my part to remind people that it's spring.

It's a state of mind, ya know!

What are you wearing this Shoesday?

Browns is a very high-end shoe store in Ontario. You got a super deal since the shoes go for prices up wards of $150 - Good score.

Fabulous buys there. Comfort is what I'm all about these days. Had those aching feet back in the day but not anymore. Comfort is the way to go with old feet. Have a great day.

I love to see the cute shoes you find! I use to have lots of shoes and enjoyed them so much. Now I have plantar fasciitis and can only wear shoes with a good arch support! sigh...no more cute 'cheap' shoes, mine cost a fortune. Grrr.

Good deals! I'm wearing my fuzzy bedroom slippers! It actually got cold here yesterday and has apparently decided to stay that way for another day...

Today will bring flip flops... I do flip flops anytime of the year...unless it's pouring outside.
I have to tell you about this article I read recently... DON'T pair purse and shoe color...(like we did in the dark ages) cuz it' "AGES" (dates) you...

Gee, we certainly don't want that.
You are suppose to go with totally different colors.
Go figure...
So now I don't... I can't afford any more years added on.

Did any one else hear that? No matchy matchy!
Have a wonderful day!
Oh...and you did get some good deals. xoso Sandy O

You never told us you had sexy feet! My feet are short and fat and sit below pudgy ankles, so I always notice pretty feet!

I'm sitting in a recliner wearing blue and red Mickey Mouse Crocs - between my plantar fasciitis, bunions, and other foot problems, Crocs are the only things I ever wear any more!

I'm wearing a Croc on one foot and a cast on the other. Yes, it was my turn to break my ankle! Can't wait to wear pretty shoes again.
