I've read the first 5 books and am anxiously awaiting the sixth. Have seen the HBO series and am anxiously awaiting the next installment. You never know where George RR Martin's mind will go next; but it's a journey I love being on with him.
Any other avid fans out there?

I have only begun watching Game of Thorns on On Demand. I have a friend who is loving the books as well. Enjoy! Time spent a book is never time wasted. Hugs!
Our oldest son gave us the DVDs of the first season and wow, it is compelling. I look forward to seeing the next season, and eventually reading the first book. The show is brilliant.

We've watched the first season - bought the DVD set - and are now waiting for the second season. I almost bought the books for my iPad last week but one of the reviewers put me off. I think I'll let your review sway me back. I read and read and read and read. Those are large books and will surely keep me busy for days and weeks and more.
