I'm unable to post anything with pictures because Blogspot says I've used my space quota and must pay for an upgrade. Can anyone out there help me?

A journey of exploration and discovery of who I am becoming during the aging process. A great big bang-up HURRAH! that I'm alive. A lot of talk about sundry and miscellaneous stuff & nonsense that may or may not have relevance; they may not even make sense (remember, I'm menopausal!). But I'm hoping they'll be fun.

I am having the same problem and so have a few others I've heard of. One gal even opened a new blog just so she could post pictures without paying. I used to be able to delete the old pictures but now can't do that. I will not pay either. So for now no new pictures from me either.
When I renewed mine earlier this year it was only $5.00 I think. I used my Visa the last time and they automatically deducted it when I asked for a renewal. It's cheap and worth it! Pamela
And just when I was beginning to think I'd made a mistake leaving Blogger... Resist the dark side (Luke). Come to the light. Weebly awaits...
I had this problem as well. I went into my picasa album and reduced the size. If you change the sizes to 800 X 800 it doesn't count toward you free amount. If you delete photos from your albums it will delete them permanently from your blog. Let me know if you need anymore info. So far it has helped me.
I haven't seen a dramatic difference in the quality of my photos. Good luck. Bonnie
This happened to me but it only cost like $5.00 or $6.00, I can't remember, it wasn't much, so I just paid it. EASY PEASY!
(Hey, I am the biggest cheapskate around, but those few dollars are worth it to show off my husband's photos on my blog!)
I did not get a notice from Blogger about my limit of pictures on my posts, but rather from Google. I now pay a small fee every month to expand my amount of space. At first, I was just going to delete pictures, but as Bonnie said, once deleted, it will be removed from your past posts or other Google sites. I do not know if this is the same problem you are having, but as we all know, nothing is really ever free.
I think what Bonnie says is true - I always resize my pictures, and after almost 5 years of blogging have only used less than .3% of my available space. Good luck! It is pretty cheap to upgrade.
