I did some meandering last Saturday (isn't that a great word, meandering?); and I leisurely visited the 3 local thrift shops. Didn't spend much money, but I had a chance to take my time and really savor my little purchases.

I paid 50 cents for this 4" letter "S". It probably stands for super savings, but I'll use it for my name, Sandy! |

$1.50 for the quilt template and fabric and 50 cents each for the patterns -- 2 for a friend and the pirate cape for me. Now, where did I put my sewing machine? |

And my favorite purchase of the day was this 2 qt mixing bowl. I spent $6 for this beauty. |
How was your thrifting week?

LOve the mixing bowl. Colors in that bracelet are perfect. Found a pair of Gloria Vanderbilt pants for $1.79 when I went thrifting. But my favorite find was the hat I'm wearing in my snow pics in my latest Blog post. I only paid ninety cents for it.
Gorgeous bracelet and love that mixing bowl!! You did good! Xoxo Marissa
Great finds! I absolutely love thrift stores, they are so much fun.
ahem..the mixing bowl..does it have a maker's name on the bottom? It is beautiful and reminds me of a very pricey one we see over here in Canada.
Thrift stores are very very fun and the things one can find. Amazing.
oh goodness...you are in nova scotia...!
